Several hikers at our Shah Alam Community Forest and our committee member, Alicia Teoh was interviewed by Media Prima’s 8TV, a Malaysian news channel.
The hikers said SACF is a good place to exercise and wishes that it would not be developed as this urban forest plays a role to reduce greenhouse effects too. They also enjoy the breath of fresh air in this forest as they improve their fitness.
Houses are seen being built beside the forest, therefore hikers call out to the Malaysian and Selangor state government to help conserve this forest.
